I would like to thank TMPA for coming to San Antonio during Fiesta and providing food and water to the very thirsty and hungry officers working the parades and the carnival. Not only were San Antonio Officers served, but officers from the surrounding law enforcement agencies that worked Fiesta also received refreshments. I received information from the San Antonio PD officers that assisted TMPA Member Services Personnel that they received numerous positive comments and words of thanks from the officers when they went up and down the miles long parade route in downtown San Antonio to deliver food and water. One veteran officer stated that in his thirty years on the department he had never seen any organization treat the officers so well. That same officer asked, "What is TMPA and where do I sign up?" I think many officers now know who TMPA is and because of the good deeds they were left with a very good impression of the organization.
