TMPA Charities is dedicated to supporting our members, their families and our communities.We do this in part through our established outreach programs:

Crisis Support
Through our Crisis Support program, TMPA Charities assists officers in their greatest time of need.When Hurricane Ike hit the Gulf Coast, TMPA Charities’ emergency response team was there, bringing essentials like food and clothes to the officers working day and night to keep the affected communities safe. Similarly, when a member is faced with a personal crisis, like a house fire, TMPA Charities will be there.

 

Scholarships
Every year, TMPA Charities awards 11 college scholarships to children of TMPA members.  The scholarships, ranging from $1,500 to $5,000, not only help our members pay for the ever-increasing costs of higher education, they also serve as a way to honor the academic achievements of some of our brightest students.  To date, TMPA Charities has provided more than $250,000 in scholarship funds to the families of our members.  Click here for more information on our scholarship program and to download a scholarship application

Community Engagement
TMPA Charities believes in supporting the communities where our officers live and work. For 60 years, TMPA has provided monetary and volunteer support to organizations including National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Concerns of Police Survivors, Special Olympics and other worthy programs. By supporting these causes, TMPA fosters the relationship between law enforcement and the residents our members protect.
