TMPA Scholarships

Every year, TMPA Charities awards 11 college scholarships to children of TMPA members. The scholarships, ranging from $1,500 to $5,000, not only help our members pay for the ever-increasing costs of higher education, they also serve as a way to honor the academic achievements of some of our brightest students.

To date, TMPA Charities has provided more than $250,000 in scholarship funds to the families of our members.

To be eligible to apply for a TMPA scholarship, you must meet the following qualifications:

o a child or dependent child of a TMPA member;

o a high school senior, GED recipient or graduate at the time of application;

o enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours of college courses at an accredited college or university; and

o not have been convicted of a crime ad must be under 25 years of age.

TMPA encourages all eligible students to both apply and reapply if previously accepted or not. A TMPA scholarship can be awarded to the same individual a maximum of four times.

To find out more about application requirements and submitting a completed application, download the TMPA Scholarship Application form. The deadline to apply for scholarship for the 2010 - 2011 school year is June 30. Recipients will be selected and announced during the TMPA annual Summer Board Meeting.
