TMPA Programs: SAFVIC
The Sexual Assault Family Violence Investigator’s Course (SAFVIC) Program is designed to provide law enforcement officers around the state with the tools they need to effectively investigate and prevent sexual assault, family violence, and stalking. The SAFVIC Program is comprised of 2 courses:
- SAFVIC for Law Enforcement – 24 hours (TCLEOSE # 3264)
- SAFVIC for Telecommunication Professionals – 8 hours (TCLEOSE # 3267)
SAFVIC uses a network of certified trainers to deliver FREE training on a local basis, thus enabling more officers the access to this very important training. The SAFVIC Program is funded by a grant from the Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor and the National Violence Against Women Office; and is administered by the Training & Research Institute for Professional Law Enforcement (TRIPLE).
