Scholarship Program
TMPA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Who is Eligible?
- Must be a child or dependent child of a TMPA member.
- Must show proof of enrollment for a minimum of twelve
hours of college credit at an accredited college,
university, or vocational school prior to receiving scholarship payment.
- Must not have been convicted of a crime.
- Must be under 25 years of age.
Selection Process
- Scholarships will be awarded by a committee of the
TMPA at the annual Summer board meeting.
- All applications will be submitted to the Selection
Committee anonymously.
Selection Criteria
- Must have graduated from High School or obtained
a GED
- Demonstrated scholastic ability - high school lowest
grade point average of a "B" (85 or higher or a GED
score of 58 or higher)
- SAT Scores
- Awards and honors
- Extracurricular activities and/or work history
- Statement expressing education and career goals & plans
"When & How Many Times Can I Apply?"
- You may apply as many times as possible while you
are still eligible.
- The TMPA Scholarship can be awarded to the same
individual a maximum of four times.
- TMPA encourages all interested to both apply and
reapply if previously accepted or not.
