TMPA Scholarship Program

TMPA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Who is Eligible?

  • Must be a child or dependent child of a TMPA member.
  • Must show proof of enrollment for a minimum of twelve hours of college credit at an accredited college,
    university, or vocational school prior to receiving scholarship payment.
  • Must not have been convicted of a crime.
  • Must be under 25 years of age.

Selection Process

  • Scholarships will be awarded by a committee of the TMPA at the annual Summer board meeting.
  • All applications will be submitted to the Selection Committee anonymously.

Selection Criteria

  • Must have graduated from High School or obtained a GED
  • Demonstrated scholastic ability - high school lowest grade point average of a "B" (85 or higher or a GED score of 58 or higher)
  • SAT Scores
  • Awards and honors
  • Extracurricular activities and/or work history
  • Statement expressing education and career goals & plans

"When & How Many Times Can I Apply?"

  • You may apply as many times as possible while you are still eligible.
  • The TMPA Scholarship can be awarded to the same individual a maximum of four times.
  • TMPA encourages all interested to both apply and reapply if previously accepted or not.
