Dear Mr. Lawrence,

Thank You for your letter dated April 29, 2004 regarding TMPA Legal File #####.

I have reviewed the invoice submitted by Mr. Lance Wyatt and the activity billed is an accurate representation of legal activity we recently discussed.

I want to also express my gratitude to the TMPA for the outstanding legal representation being provided in this matter. Mr. Wyatt faces a very difficult task in defending this action which also affects so many other police officers in the many small cities and towns in Texas .

I have expressed to Mr. Wyatt several times that if we should prevail in this lawsuit; I want the TMPA to be reimbursed for the legal fees expended on this action. My goal is not to pocket as much money as I can, but to get legal precedent established that will protect police officers in some degree from the malicious actions of corrupt local government officials.

Again, Thanks very much for the legal representation and the many other benefits you provide the membership.

The TMPA is a CLASS ACT!
