I would like to again thank TMPA for the help and support in this time of crisis with my job. Without TMPA I could not, nor could I ever, have received the help I now have in fighting this battle to the end. I now know I will more than likely have a long road ahead until the city gives in and realizes that we do not just give up and fade away.

This association is a power of good for police officers all across the State of Texas. With the help of Chris Livingston with Lyon, Gorsky, Haring & Gilbert, L.L.P. I believe I have received the best legal representation any one could in my position. Not only was it a win, but another major win for all of us.

The visiting judge for the 392nd District Court agreed that they did not have jurisdiction in the city's appeal to the arbitrators decision. When Chris tells you something will more than likely happen, believe it. Chris knows his stuff and is a great asset to the association and his law firm.

This is is just another reason why all Police Officers in this great state need to quit putting off joining TMPA for what ever reason. You never know when and if a small or great need for help will arise. Don't wait until it's too late. Protect yourself NOW! It's the best insurance for police officers anywhere.
