When new Officers come into the Department, I often tell them one of the first things they should do is join the TMPA,  knowing that the TMPA will not only represent them at the State level, but help protect their job and fight for them if necessary.

Little did I know that the TMPA would do just that for me. For about ten months I was in a legal struggle stemming from a DA's office that was not friendly with local Law Enforcement. My job and career hung in the balance, and my family and I feared for the future.

I made the call to the TMPA and Attorney Greg Cagle for assistance, and assistance above par was what I got. Mr. Cagle handled the entire matter with outstanding professionalism and with a personable approach that made me feel more at ease with the process. I now consider Mr. Cagle a good friend and will continue to suggest to all new Officers that joining the TMPA is a excellent (if not a must) thing to do.
