I wish to express my thanks to TMPA for the good work and assistance provided to the Groves Police Officers Association during this year's contract negotiations.

Kevin Lawrence and Greg Cagle put forth a great deal of effort. Within days of us joining the TMPA, they were hard at work. I was particularly impressed with their ability to gather information and prepare presentations such as salary comparisons that were easy to understand and difficult for the city leaders to ignore.

Despite a lengthy and sometimes contentious negotiation, in the end we prevailed when the city accepted our original proposals.
