Mr. Heaton,

 From Dec 2002 to Sept 2004 I was a municipal police officer with the City of Humble, TX.  During that time I was also a member of TMPA as were many of my co-workers.  Since leaving TX for FL and becoming a State Trooper one of the things I miss the most about being a TX Peace Officer is the security I felt knowing TMPA was there for me if ever I needed them.  Although I never had to use the legal services of TMPA I knew officers who did.  Those who used the services of TMPA never had a bad word to say about their representation and in every case credited the successful outcome primarily to the quality of TMPA attorneys. 

 Almost 5 years after moving to FL, whenever I hear one of my co-workers who ask about legal services, TMPA is the first thing that comes to mind. 

 I just wanted to let you know how important the services you provide are to those who serve and how much those services are missed when not available.  I would gladly spend twice the monthly dues of $23.00 simply to have the security TMPA provides. 

 If TMPA ever expands into Florida please let me know.  I’ll be your first member.
