Mr. Lawrence,
My name is Chris Trusty and I am an officer with Garland PD. I was involved with a lawsuit against the Lieutenant’s promotional exam our department had last summer. I sought legal advice from Lyon, Gorsky, Haring & Gilbert, L.L.P., and Chris Livingston was assigned to my case. Even though I was not an actual party to the lawsuit, the results could have had an adverse effect on my promotion, and Mr. Livingston requested that TMPA provide legal representation on this matter. I am very pleased that even though my situation probably didn’t fall within the normal guidelines of what legal coverage is provided for, TMPA stepped up and offered to help me out.
The lawsuit was resolved before it went to court and the legal services were not needed, however, I was very confident with the representation that I received from Mr. Livingston provided by TMPA, so again, thank you for what you do.
