I joined TMPA shortly after becoming a Texas Peace Officer when I left Federal employment in 2004. I alway like to think ahead, just in case. Well I had a legal situation come up this last year, that I felt required an attorney.

Despite the matter not being police related, TMPA was able to refer me to Terry Hickey in Ft. Worth to assist me. Ms. Hickey was excellent and did an outstanding job of representing me. She was also kind enough to work out a considerate financial arrangement, taking into account my service as a Texas Peace Officer and like any other cop, my limited budget.

I was very pleased with the assistance I got from TMPA for the reference and from Ms. Hickey in legal representation. If this is the service I get for minor non-police related affairs, I have no doubt that should I need any help in the future as a police officer, such service will be beyond words.
