Convenient and Comprehensive
TMPA believes that a well trained officer will not only better serve the public, but will also enjoy a safer career in law enforcement. TMPA strives to provide accessible and inexpensive options for all Texas peace officers seeking training and TCLEOSE credit. Visit TMPA’s Register for an Event/Class for a full list of courses, dates and locations.
Additionally, TMPA will soon be opening regional training sites in Houston, San Antonio, McAllen and Dallas. Each site will offer a comprehensive list of TCLEOSE approved courses including leadership classes, interview techniques, accident investigation and internal affairs courses. Course information will be added to the Register for an Event/Class calendar as soon as the sites are open.
Cost Effective
TMPA will work with your agency to bring the training directly to you and your fellow officers. TMPA maintains a statewide network of instructors that will bring the training your department needs to your agency at a tuition rate lower than most other training providers. This allows agencies to save on travel costs associated with training including transportation, hotel and food expenses in addition to officer time. To request training for your department, email training@tmpa.org.
TCLEOSE Approved
If officers in your department are having trouble getting their TCLEOSE training, TMPA can help. TMPA maintains a training agreement with TCLEOSE and is one of the largest independent training providers in the state.
