Darlene Lanham

Darlene Lanham

 

Darlene holds a Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. She is Chairwoman of the City of Austin Commission for Women, where she advises the City Council on matters of women’s policy. Darlene is also an Advisor on the Capital Area Council of Governments Criminal Justice Advisory Committee. In addition to her civic work, Darlene volunteers for national organizations; she serves on the Board of the Centex American Society for Public Administration and is the Chapter Director for the National Coalition Building Institute. She has moderated discussions for Texas Forums/Future Forums on the issues of Social Security, Medicare and Democracy. Prior to her studies in public policy and administration, she managed events at the University of North Texas College of Music. Her knowledge in performance management, public financial analysis and strategic planning enhance the services we offer. Darlene is committed to professionalizing law enforcement through education and representation—she is proud to contribute her skills to our mission-driven projects.
