TMPA Emergency Response Team
Through our Crisis Support program, TMPA Charities assists officers in their greatest time of need with an Emergency Response Team. This ERT was developed to provide a thorough and strategic response to natural disasters or other catastrophic events that require large-scale and extended law enforcement response.
When Hurricane Ike hit the Gulf Coast, TMPA Charities’ Emergency Response Team was there, bringing essentials such as food and clothes to the officers working day and night to keep the affected communities safe. Similarly, when a member is faced with a personal crisis, like a house fire, TMPA Charities Emergency Response Team will be there.
