TMPA Field Representative Dick Brock supports TMPA members in West Texas from the Pan Handle to Big Bend to El Paso

Dick Brock comes to TMPA after 26 years in law enforcement. Dick attended Angelo State University , majoring in government with a criminal justice option. He began his career as a dispatcher with the San Angelo Police Department. From there, he went to work for the Angelo State University PD as a Campus Police Officer. He later moved back to the San Angelo Police Department where he served in the Patrol, Identification, and Detective divisions. Dick retired from the San Angelo Police Department in 2003 and was appointed and later elected Constable of Precinct #2 in Tom Green County . During his tenure as a peace officer, Dick served on the Board of Directors of the San Angelo Police Officers Association and was elected President twice. Dick also served on the TMPA Board of Directors for 9 years and served as President from 1996-1997. |
TMPA Field Representative Tracy Chance supports TMPA members in Central Texas.

Tracy came to TMPA in August 2007 with 21 yrs of experience in law enforcement. He began his career with the El Segundo Police Dept. in Los Angeles, Ca. After 4 ½ years, he transferred to the Inglewood Police Dept where upon he retired in 2005. Tracy held such assignments as patrol officer, narcotics, gang and vice investigator, SWAT officer, field training officer, criminal investigations and administrative services. Tracy’s biggest accomplishment during his career was rewriting the Inglewood Police Department's policy, procedural and field training officer manual while assigned to the accreditation unit. He also holds an advanced police officer certification from POST (Ca.) |
TMPA Field Representative Leighton Guarnere supports TMPA members in East Texas from College Station to the Texas O.C.

Leighton Guarnere comes to TMPA after 15 years of experience in law enforcement. Leighton attended Lamar University, majoring in criminal justice. He has worked for Sugar Land Police Department, where he served as an FTO, Honor Guard Member, and child safety seat technician. Leighton also worked at Groves Police Department in the patrol division. Leighton has vast experience in contract negotiations. While working in both Groves and Port Neches he successfully help positions as Vice-President and President of their Police Officer's Associations. In fact, the most recent contract he negotiated for Groves resulted in the highest pay raise in the history of the city. He currently reside in Port Neches, Texas with his wife and three sons, and looks forward to beginning his career with TMPA.

TMPA Field Representative Mike Gomez supports TMPA members in South Texas from Del Rio through San Antonio to Corpus Christi and then south to the Rio Grand Valley.

Mike has been active for several years serving as a TMPA Field Representative, he has been active in training
over the past 14 years, Mike has developed the knowledge of different department's
budget and training needs. Mike has provided knowledge that will allow TMPA
to develop training curriculum and unique training opportunities to members across Texas.
Mike holds a Master Peace Officer license along with 16 years of experience in law enforcement.
He is excited to assist in TMPA's mission to promote professionalism in law enforcement. |
