Protecting Those Who Serve
for Over 50 Years

Dear Mr. Lawrence:

Your representing lawyer, John R. Cullar, really helped me out of a frustrating situation, and I'd like to commend him and his work along with TMPA for providing him and his services.

I had been indefinitely suspended after being involved in an in-custody death involving a hobble restraint back in January 2005. I contacted TMPA and you immediately provided John's name and number without hesitation. John was very helpful in this time. He was very professional, caring, and most of all very confident with his abilities.

John called me, not once but several times, to make sure that I was doing fine and also helping me get the answers that I needed to make my case come together. On the day of my arbitration hearing (Feburary 27-28, 2006), John was very prepared and he performed to the best of his ability. He was dressed very professional; he was very articulate when he spoke, and the most important key, he had his facts ready. John argued the case with precision skill and he eventually won the case for me and I was able to return to work as a police officer with my back pay and full benefits.

If making talented lawyers like Mr. Cullar available to your paying officers is an indication of the service that I can expect in the future, you can be sure that I'll recommend TMPA to every officer that I come in contact with.

Thank you again for being there for me.

Sincerely,

Steven Taylor                                                                                             City of Temple
