I have been a member of TMPA for several years, but just recently had to call on them. On December 30, 2004, I was placed on Administrative Leave from my Department, no reason was given. I called TMPA that night and spoke to an operator, I told her I did not think it was an emergency, she said someone would be in contact with me. The next morning, On New Years Eve, I received a call from Mr. Lawrence from TMPA and he said he knew of the situation and he would be in contact with me. TMPA referred me to Bob Gorsky, I contacted his office and set up an appointment to meet with him and Phil Burleson. I was very impressed, from the secretaries at the office, to Bob Gorsky and Phil Burleson, they were very friendly and treated me as if they knew me my whole life. Phil Burleson always kept me informed of all that was going on, and even went with me to a meeting with my departments attorney's. My department's attorney later found there was no case against me,and I was cleared.   I have recently resigned from my department to pursue another career, but will reserve for another Police Department and keep up my TMPA membership.

I was very pleased with the whole process and the Law firm of Bob Gorsky.

Thank you

R. B. Reneau
