Mike Scheffler is TMPA Officer of the Month - September 2010

Trooper Scheffler has been serving in law enforcement for over 17 years and has been a TMPA member since 1999. Mike enjoys training and as a result has trained thousands of law enforcement professionals across the state in a variety of capacities.

Mike has served as an Instructor for the LEADRS program and is an active member of the steering committee.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is an agency of the state created to provide public safety services to residents of Texas by enforcing laws, administering regulatory programs, managing records, educating the public, and managing emergencies, both directly and through interaction with other agencies.
