Dear Mr. Lawrence:

I had intended to send you a letter at the conclusion of my disciplinary hearing late last month, prior to receiving your letter of 1 September 2006. As your files reflect, Mr. Kevin Madison represented me during the course of my administrative hearing. I have reviewd the itemization of his attorney/paralegal fees and find all to be in order.

From the moment of my first consultation with Mr. Madison, I was impressed with his professional demeanor and understanding of the police disciplinary process. I found him to be quite accessible during the times we consulted on my case; and his staff was equally helpful during those times I could not speak to Kevin directly.

My sense is that Kevin is the type of attorney who takes a considerable interest in the issues confronting his client. In addition to his professional qualities, his sincerity in working on behalf of my interests was most evident. I would not hesitate to recommend Kevin Madison to any of my colleagues requiring such similar representation.
