I would like to express my sincere gratitude to TMPA and Phil Burleson for the outstanding efforts made on my behalf.
Since March 26, 2007, Phil Burleson has put forth a more than commendable effort on my behalf to retain my job. After numerous commissioner's court hearings, on November 28, 2007 they refused reinstating my employment. The county commissioner's could have taken this action earlier and saved everyone hours of time and money. Mr. Burleson, in the presence of myself and my private attorney, did everything right and with his power to resolve this matter with a positive outcome. When your employment and the retailiation thereof becomes so political the federal government is involved, nothing is cut and dried. I feel Mr. Burleson went above and beyond his duties of legal representation to get me reinstated with Dallas County although unsucessful.
I express my sincere gratitude to TMPA and their outstanding choice of attorneys. I look forward to being a TMPA member again in the future.
Sincerely,
David Risinger
